We love red dirt, and so do our listeners. If YOU enjoy red dirt music as much as we do, then be sure to join me every Friday at 5 p.m. for the University Bank Dirty Dozen. That's 12 red dirt songs in a row that will not only help you on your drive home, but it will kick off your weekend "THE DIRTY WAY" (well, sort of....LOL). It's all brought to you by University Bank in Pittsburg and Arma, Kansas.....locally owned, personally connected.
As many of you know, the entertainment world lost a true radio and television personality as Dick Clark passed away at the age of 82. I can remember watching him on American Bandstand during the 80's (yes, I'm an 80's kid), and I also remember all those crazy outtake specials (TV's Uncensored Bloopers and TV's Bloopers and Practical Jokes)....now THAT was OUTSTANDING television (in my opinion). I even have a copy of Dick Clark presents Radio's Uncensored Bloopers (on LP vinyl, and believe me, folks, THOSE copies are REALLY hard to find, unless you search the Internet, in which case, you can find them anywhere....well, ALMOST anywhere)
Anyway, rest in peace, Dick Clark....you will be sorely missed
